In 2012, Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm presented the wooden stool Georg at Danish Crafts’ MINDCRAFT12 exhibition in Milan. This year, Georg returns to Milan – now as part of the exhibition NOMADISMI, which is curated by Raffaelle Carreri and Lidewij Edelkoort.
Christina Liljenberg Halstrøm, b. 1977, graduated as a furniture designer from The Danish Design School (now the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design). She was among the selected designers in Danish Crafts’ MINDCRAFT exhibition in 2012, where she presented the wooden stool Georg.
Georg is a four-legged stool in ash wood with a cushion that is held in place by a leather strap. The stool is named after her eldest son, who often joins her in the workshop. Georg is presented at the NOMADISMI exhibition in cooperation with the Danish furniture manufacturer Skagerak (Trip Trap).
